It closes way to early in weekends, even though buses are still running which mean you cannot wait inside and have to go outside to way in the freezing cold! Unbelievable bad managed !

In the city center walking distance to the West Quay hotels and shopping areas e.g. ASDA is across the street. Convenient for those flying into Heathrow or Gatwick as National Express drops off and picks up passengers from this station. The uneven pavement at the small station wasn't designed properly for wheeled luggages - an odd oversight for a city that thrives on cruise passengers. The departure boards rarely work. Smoking is also prevalent.

I bought a return ticket to Gatwick and handed over my travel details to the guy at the desk so yhere could be no mistakes.I didn't notice the return date was wrong because i was catching an overnight flight. At the same time i was persuaded to buy an over sixties pass to get a cheaper deal. Please note fellow customers if your ticket has to be changed the fee is a fiver and no refunds, even if you aren't travelling for two weeks. In truth the train fare works out cheaper. The pass expiry date was the same date i bought it so i had to have that corrected.National Express might bend a little and learn to be customer friendly.Next time i book my own ticket if i travel by bus.Just not this time thanks.Quicker by train.and cheaper.

We arrived and realized that we did not have the hotel reservation that we thought we had. There was no wifi available. Nathan was working. It was Friday Aug 3. He called the ibis just down the road in his personal mobile and confirmed that they had space for us and then walked us outside to show us where we needed to go. He went above and beyond and as a result we ended up finding our travel friends and getting a room at the ibis where they were also staying. Thank you Nathan!!

First time using a coach service to get from Southampton to London and I'm so glad I did! No delays, no problems on the way up. Service very polite. Drive very smooth. Coach very clean & comfortable. Price very good. The only issue was that the return coach was late and we were worried that we would be late home. It was good that the drive kept us informed throughout the wait and on the journey of any issues or journey improvements. He also got us home in a good time. The drive was smooth and safe. I think I might be converted!? No more congested, stuffy, expensive trains for me. The one thing that I would LOVE (and would totally convert me to coach travel) is if you could book a seat number so that you knew you would be able to travel sat next to your friend/partner. This would also stop angry/grumpy passengers pushing to the front to queue at the stations.
