Great food, great service and great prices, what more do you want?
Went here on recommendation of some local friends. It took one hour from sitting down to receiving food which meant we had to rush (we hadn't anticipated staying for so long). When we received the food, a couple of items were missing from the breakfast which I thought was bizarre (surely they have served breakfast frequently enough to instantly know?). This was rectified quite quickly. I found the quality was not great and was expecting more but it seemed too busy and they had let their quality slip perhaps.What would stop me going again are the rude responses on Google. They are not constructive or helpful - they have told a disabled person they were glad they didn't come in anyway after having some issues entering the cafe! Learn to take on your comments and don't take things so personally - it's the internet after all!
Lovely cosy & welcoming cafe - I really enjoyed my food & drink, and love to see an independent place like this that really cares about the locals
My Granddaughter and I always eat here after our dog training. We arrived today and were seated at 2.15. We were told we could not have food. There were only 2 other people in there who had finished there meal. We were then told that they had been extremely busy. I was not impressed that we as regular customers were treated this way.
First impressions didn't last long... Upon being seated, I was impressed by the depth of the menu which, for a "greasy spoon" type cafe, was extensive and surprisingly adventurous. Sadly, the reality was a lukewarm fry up, swimming in greasy and unrealised potential. I wouldn't have minded, but it weren't even good value. 22 for two fry ups, two teas and an out-of-the-carton orange juice... Criminal.
