This is one of the most original rock bars in South England. Great atmosphere, nice gigs, good for games, huge beer garden with a burger shop included, nice music, friendly people.... Shame they remove the inflatable sheep dispenser, hehe. Keep on Tolkien, mates!
Cheap drinks. Jukebox. Young crowd. Rough around the edges. No doubt its probably much nicer in summer as it has a huge outdoor area.
Great place to have a drink with friends. Has the usual pub classic games, but if you are up for a challenge try tackling the drinking games which are rewarded with a t-shirt. It is a safe environment with a zero tolerance to drug abuse. A garden space open in the summer is a chill atmosphere.
Great place if you're a fan of The Lord of The Rings/Hobbit franchise. Great outdoor seating. Drinks are reasonable but they do deals . Card limit of 10. Staff are always friendly.
