I go in to buy my stuff for lunches for the week, and the occasional snack. Can't argue, the employees generally don't bother you, and will help you if you ask. They seem to be quite sociable, which is nice to see, especially in an area where so many jerks and weirdos come into the store and give them trouble
forced me to use a self serve machine and told me they don't accept card at the till, however I needed a tabacco product and he proceeded to tell me that I cannot pay at the till whilst scanning my products through self serve himself... There was card machine in front of the till.
Rude, inpolite. You get ignored.. they walk infront of you when youre trying to get something like you're non existant. An older lady which is there frequently who works for them also stands and talks constantly whilst theres a que of people waiting to be served. The staff are always stood just chatting and joking about whilst people are waiting for service and they always finish their conversation before serving customers. I brought my children there the other day to grab slush puppies, i get told they forgot to switch the machine on in the morning.. so they arent serving them. I work for a large company myself and i know it only takes 20 minutes for the machine to do its job. They have an excuse for everything. People were even pouring slush mix into cups ( clearly employees dont give a damn about their stock wastage) thinking it was working, instead of putting a sign on it for customers. Really unorganized, clear lack of communicaton or respect for their customers. Dissappointing for the price you pay for product there. I'll go elsewhere as well.
Rude, impolite staff. Even my colleagues agree with that and so I'll also start buying my lunch from somewhere else.
Constantly grumpy and rude staff and it's filthy,always rubbish everywhere. I know you can't expect much from a co op but I have had better service in toilets you have to pay for in london
