A brilliant historical tribute the the lives lost on the Titanic. The staff and guides are knowledgeable and great with the school children. An easy museum to navigate. Cafe is good, reasonably priced. Souvenier shop a little expensive by the children love the pencils, rubbers etc.
An excellent museum for Everyone interested in the Titanic and other important ships in history. There are special places for children along the different rooms. It is perfect for families!
Titanic experience is very good, not huge but a good exhibition. We spent 25 for a family which I think is a bit much considering there's not much else, most people we spoke to were there to visit the titanic exhibition. Very interesting and the audio from survivors we found very moving. The setup of the court disputing reasons for the sinking of titanic was very clever and fascinating to listen to. For those with an interest in the Titanic would recommend.
When in Rome...As per the saying we visited the SeaCity Museum in Southampton to see the Titanic exhibition. We found it offers a very interesting view on Life in Southampton and on the Titanic. It is a modern exhibition in an impressive setting with striking video footage and interactive features also illustrating the impact on Southampton after the traffic events. Worth a visit when around.
Amazing day off in Titanic exhibition. They have 11 am and 12:30 pm tours. Jamie told us a lot of incredible facts about Titanic and her two sisters. There is the only Titanic museum dedicated to crew of the ship as most of them were from Southampton. Highly recommended!!!
