A classical Tudor House. Very interesting if you like British history and you have never been to a Tudor House before.
A brilliant introduction to historic Southampton. The tour of the house is very well done and includes the story of its many ownerships and alterations as well as its amazing and sensitive restoration early in this millennium. The garden tour even includes part of a Norman castle.
I love the Tudor House Museum. It covers Southampton's history from the beginning of the development of the area. And it is interactive. After you have journey through the house, you can stop in their cafe and have afternoon tea and scones or sandwiches or light meals.
