Great sunsets and a great walk.The prom is popular with dog walkers,families and people enjoying the fresh air and a nice view.Flat and level and accessible to everyone.Not much in the way of facilities but there is a loo and in the summer an ice cream van.It's possible to walk all the way to Hamble and it's great walk and pathways all the way.Lot's of parking at Weston Shore.The sunset's are pretty good too.I almost forgot.I helped to build the pathway extension between Weston and Netley Castle.Hope you enjoy it.My only criticism is perhaps cyclists could invest in a bell for their bikes.It would save bad feelings from people who have no warning when the bikers get too close when they overtake.I don't have rear view mirrors attached to my head.

Beautiful area to pass through, visit & see the shipping go by. On the most part their is mutual respect from both cyclists & pedestrians for the highway code and each others safety. It's a shame though about how many dog walkers walk their dogs here in a way that is in contravention to rule 56 of the highway code as this causes unnecessary danger to both themselves, their dogs and to cyclists too. It's a shame as well that some will then lie and cry about non-existent dog and pedestrian injuries on websites such as this one just to support their ignorance. Be safe & educate yourself on the highway code!!!
Great place to walk dogs or have a lovely family walk, beware fast cyclists however! Not suitable for both as seen many hurt dogs and people including children! Such a shame no mutual respect for each other!!
