Nara is SO good! The chicken katsu yakisoba is my favourite. The staff are always so kind and polite and get your order right 100% of the time. I often get a collection order during the week as you get it discounted, and the food is always ready within 15 minutes maximum of me ordering. The ambience inside is lovely too, and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality.
Lovely restaurant with really friendly staff. They played jazz music which was really cool and quirky. The food was also exactly very tasty with a wide selection of choices. I would definitely recommend and I will for sure return to try the other dishes on the menu!
Used to eat here all the time. Everything was amazing - the sushi, the tempura, the soup, everything. After going vegan, I continued to eat there, as there are lots of dishes suitable for vegans, at least if they actually give you what you order. Unfortunately, one night I ordered some vegetable tempura and was not impressed when I got home and bit into a freaking prawn. Not only did I explicitly ask for vegetable tempura, but I also mentioned that I was vegan and checked that there was no egg in the tempura batter just to be safe. I understand some people won't care about a misunderstanding like this. But food establishments need to respect their customers' individual diet choices/needs. I mean, I could've had a seafood allergy. Regardless, I'm really disappointed and very annoyed. Before, I would've highly recommended this restaurant to anyone vegetarian or vegan. Now, I wouldn't take the risk.
