Another great value for money meal lovely hot tasty food in a relaxing atmoshere
My wife and I always bet a Tandoori when we have a difference of opinion and with good reason. Meats are always tender and dishes full of flavour.Just as we sit down, we order popadom's and drinks, and before you're settled with a menu, they arrive! Eating and drinking whilst you choose your main meal, starters and all!It's the best curry house in Southampton... and we travel all the way from Wickham just for a guaranteed great curry. Love it, love curry, love Tandoori! :-)
Friendly service for sure.Food lacks taste and the chicken 100% wasn't marinated as stated. Please just add some sort of taste so I want to come back for more. Service is 3 stars, taste 0
Over 3 hours for a single course meal? Where is that reasonable? We were seated at 19:00, and we were the only table there. Slowly, a steady trickle of customers entered the restaurant, but nothing that I would have deemed as busy enough to justify us receiving our food two hours after ordering it. When it finally arrived, it was lukewarm and fairly unremarkable. It really became quite farcical. I was genuinely glad to leave.
I love this place, I would probably say that Tandoori have opened my eyes to a host of different flavours that I wasn't aware were available on the UK market. I highly recommend eating in as you get an amazing friendly experience. The only reason that I have rated 4 stars is because the Takeaway is sometimes a bit hit and miss however, I have never had anything but perfection when visiting.
