I recently visited French & Sonss after sending many of my patients to them for a specialist shoe fitting service. Many of our patients have complex foot and ankle issues and wear devices such as orthoses and braces to aid their walking which can pose quite a challenge when selecting footwear. I dont think I can think of an occasion where the team at French & Sons havent found a solution for my patients and they quite often have several options for them to choose from. When I walked into the store in Bedford Place, the welcome was warm and the service impeccable! There is a real family feel amongst the team and a genuine passion for what they do! Its so great to see a traditional shoe fitting service and such a fantastic high quality range of footwear for all ages. Well done to the team at French & Sons, we will continue to send all of our patients who require your shoe fitting expertise in the future!
French's demonstrate just how amazing a shopping experience can be. Having had my own shoes from them as a child I'm very much enjoying taking my own children there for their shoes now. Customer service and ranges of shoes available are second to none. The shop itself is classic, luxurious and catered to keep children entertained. Do not buy shoes anywhere else without at least trying French's first!
They had a great solection of shoes for our toddler, which was great, as Clarks never have any stock in their shops. Also they had a sale on, so got a great deal on some Start-Rite shoes. Will shop here from now on.Staff were good, they got the job done and were helpful/professional (I can see how some people might comment negatively) they were not as friendly as they are in the John Lewis childrens department, for example, so that is why Ive only given 4 stars and not 5... otherwise it would be a perfect shop.
Very unfriendly staff. I came to buy the shoes on offer and the ladies never shared a smile with me or my daughter.I thought shop assistants have to be friendly first of all and it does not matter what sort of shoes you are buying - expensive or the ones on offer.I bought three pairs of shoes and I am not sure I would be offered a bag if I wouldn't ask for it.This high class shop supposed to have a high class customer service.
Fantastic experience, excellent measurement of my kids' feet, the shoes lasted over a year - and when the stitching came away they were able to mend them while we waited! Shoes still going strong. Just superb service and value for children's shoes and excellent range.
