My second visit in 5 years! And really poor compared to Southamptons latest arrivals. Seafood linguine was bland with zero spice and was gritty! Pizza awful and embarrassing! Big thick layers of cheese. The Stilton and mushroom soup however was lovely. The laughable part was when we were presented with a stamp card - 45 stamps!!! So using last nights joke bill for 2 with no alcohol thats 1710 pounds Id spend before seeing anything for my loyalty. In all. Home cooked food done poorly.
Food was good. Service a little slow but it was busy. Seating felt a little overcrowded.
Very good food and service but only one roast on offer which is pork unfortunately that is not a preferred meat. Another choice of meat roast would be lovely!
We went to Banana Wharf this evening for dinner after almost 5 years since our last visit and left feeling very disappointed. I remember this restaurant being high quality and good food, but unfortunately on my return I found things have changed dramatically. I ordered the chicken which came out dry as a bone and my partner ordered the carbonara which tasted desperately average. It felt as though the waiting staff did not care and wanted to be anywhere but the restaurant. We left our almost untouched meals and ventured elsewhere to eat. Will not be returning.
The restaurant is in a great location with lovely views of the marina. Staff were very friendly, and the food we ordered was very nice indeed. Nice casual atmosphere, and football was being shown in the bar area which is separate from the restaurant.Definitely recommended.
