Apologies to people who work there. One rude PT that ruins it. Lacks common sense or consideration to other people working out. If it wasn't a 5 minute walk from my work I'd of left and moved back to Gym group.Otherwise an alright gym. Cheap and cheerful minus the showers which aren't the best.
Very busy on peak, equipment is decent enough, lots of free weights and machines. as tidy and clean as a gym that busy can be for the price. Classes look fun but I haven't attended. All the other members have been polite and friendly.
Just got a 90 car parking charge for using there car park which i was advised to use by there staff. . I'm not happy. I called the number on the website to see if they could help, but after waiting 30 mins for someone to answer the phone, they said they could'nt help as they did not own the carpark that they told me to use. They said they could'nt even call the gym to find out what had happened. (there is no contact number at the gym.) This is really not good service. If you have a car beware. This has left a really bad taste in my mouth, and unfortunately a sign of the times with this type of business i'm learning. I hope some one contacts me to sort this out, however i won't hold my breath. Hopefully i won't have any more unwanted gym parking charges in the post?Also, while i'm here, i was just reading about how bad the showers and changing rooms are. This is totally true in the mens changing rooms, and are tiny and often over crowded. The showers are very poor, often don't work at all. Whats the point? How are you supposed to clean yourself?Ran't over, you need to sort these things out pure gym, or don't advertise you have them. Really bad management. I've been in gyms all over the world and have a good idea what i'm talking about.
Outraged! I paid 28.99 (15.00 joining fee + 13.99 off-peak month) to which the joining fee is a one time payment. The following month they take 28.99 again!! After a I emailed them I was told it would get referred up the chain to someone else, they never got back to me. I cancel my gym membership at this point. I messaged again two weeks later and they say they can pay me the 15.00 as a 'good will gesture', though I can only be credited it. So, I would then need to join up (to which I do not want to) paying 28.99 again or joining fee and one months gym, just to then get 15.00. Making me spend money to get what it rightfully mine in the first place, f@#king outraged!! Not only this buy my electronic PIN to get through the door the first month did not work for the first two weeks. I messaged them straight away when I could not get in but they took so long to reply and then to fix the issue, two weeks went by. So I payed 28.99 for two weeks. Stupid, stupid, stupid!!
Massively improved since the refurb. Lots of new equipment and much better facilities. Music has got a lot better too .
