Not heard biggest, but great for classes and everyday use, weight section downstairs, cardio and fitness upstairs.
Useful place to do your own workouts. If you're after group classes then good luck with booking. Facilities are good too with ample lockers and equipment.
Whilst the pin system to gain access to/leave the gym is a little irritating, especially when a class has just finished, PureGym Shirley is a spacious gym in two levels with a range of equipment conveniently open 24/7. It has a large car park that has never been full in my experience. Certain periods can be a little crowded to access equipment, however the app allows you to see how many people are at the gym so you can decide when is best to go. Otherwise a great, convenient and cheap place for a regular work out.
A nice and simple gym that is maybe not the biggest but it crams a load of kit into the space it has. Great for a simple workout, and usually not overly busy.
Usually crowded, they need to expand, but flexible hours and near the main hospital which is good for people working there
