Still withholding my late father's deposit! My father died suddenly early this year in the bedsit he rented, aspire have used that as one of the reasons why they won't give us his whole deposit back saying they will need to refurbish the whole bedsit! (he didn't die in a grosome way BTW!) and also he didn't give notice!!!! Yes folks you read that right, he died suddenly but never gave notice so he's in breach of his contract!! Absolute disgrace of a company! No empathy. There happy to take your money but will use any excuse not to give it back. We still haven't got our fathers deposit back and they have no made no effort at all in resolving the issue. You decide for yourself whether that's a company you want to be involved with.
Absolutely lovely people who took great care to find a wonderful place! Sahib waited an extra 15 minutes for me even when I had taken the wrong bus to the property. This was really kind because we ended up selecting that property! The viewings Luke set up, also the way Kulbir handled all the documentation and was super kind, and Sarah's fantastic support were all very welcoming, efficient and caring. They've got a very committed work culture and I hope that never changes. Thanks again!
This is a second (edited) review about estate agency in Shirley.Please be aware that when you pay a deposit for a flathouse, Aspire will do everything to not pay you back this money.We rented a one bedroom flat in Anglesea Terrace in Southampton. The whole process of renting the flat was quick and professional.Unfortunately I cant tell the same thing about moving out as Aspire requested to transfer all deposit to their account for terminating contact before end of tenancy agreement. We lost a deposit and would not recommend Aspire to anyone.The estate was unhelpful and unprofessional after they get information that we are going to move out. They offered us a cleaning company for 195!?! We could find any cleaning company offering that much for cleaning!Please READ a contact and make sure you not sing anything with additional charges like cleaning after move out, agency fees for inventory check (70!).The estate agency tries to make a money for anything! Be aware please!
We rented our apartment in Shirley with them and everything was perfect (comunication, rapport, etc.). We highly recommend them.
So happy with this estate agent! We moved into one of their rented properties a year ago. The move in process was so smooth and everything was explained perfectly by them, so my girlfriend and I felt at ease instantly. We have just moved out because we needed a bigger place and gutted to not have found another property with them but they were just as easy to deal with at the end of the tenancy as they were at the start. I would describe them as an estate agent that actually cares! Thank you all for providing us with such a great experience!
