Review for walk-in centre (minor injuries unit).Waiting room is small and confined, not enough seating. I attended due to an ankle problem and am currently waiting on an estimated 2 hours waiting time, despite it being half past four in the afternoon on a Wednesday. Receptionist seems pleasant enough and current waiting patients are being respectful to each other with regard to noise. I have a phobia of clinical establishments so not particularly enjoying the overall experience.
Worst hospital Ive ever visited in my life. Referred from Southampton general for an MRI scan at 16:30 on a Saturday. Arrived - couldnt find anywhere to park as most spaces were for staff. Walked to radiology as this is where I usually go for all MRI scans and there was absolutely no-one around to help. Shutters were down, used self check-in and it directed me to reception. The only reception open was the injuries unit where I was met by two of the most unfriendliest, unhelpful women who even though sat right by an outdoor MRI scanner unit failed to tell me and just made my life difficult.Asked around, bearing in mind I was meant to be in the scanner by now and a friendly guy finally helped by asking other members of staff he could find. It was like an apocalypse had hit, there was just no-one around to help - IN A HOSPITAL. Finally found said MRI scanner outside in the portakabin and was greeted by much kinder members of staff who could see I was worked up and stressed prior to even having the scan. Never want to return here again.
I was admitted to day surgery to have cataract surgery today. The staff were absolutely brilliant. Nothing was to much trouble. The unit was clean, modern and comfy. The surgeon was lovely and Daisy the H.C.A was amazing, Kim on the ward you deserve a special mention. You can see how passionate you are . I love you all thank you xx
The post-cancer care I have received here has been really good. Staff members that have dealt with me have been emphatic, professional and informative throughout. If I ever have any concerns the reception staff get me rushed in the next or same day with no aggro or gate keeping issues whatsoever. The consultants that see me are patient and understanding that, as a result of what I had, I might be more anxious than most people when I feel anything might be amiss. Cannot thank you guys in dermatology enough.
A lovely clean and professionally run hospital. ALL staff from top to bottom are EXCEPTIONALLY caring. You will not be better cared for if you are a private patient. Highly recommend this hospital. Thank you all for your care, concern and kindness.
