I was a client of this firm in 2016. I received compensation for poor service totalling over £11,000 and an additional £500 compensation for the emotional impact of the poor service. The firm rejected my complaints meaning I had to take the matter to the Legal Ombudsman who made a legally binding decision in my favour. It still took nearly 4 months for the firm to pay me the monies owed. They attempted to get a Judicial Review to overturn the Ombudsman decision but this application was rejected and dismissed.

I contacted this company because they are opposite my house. I needed an Affidavit sworn. The internet search showed the business would be open from 9am to 5pm today. I went over at 9:30am - door locked and no-one there. I Tried again at 12:30pm - same result. I called the number on the website - an 0845 number. The person who answered was not at the Oxford Street office, but said that someone should be. I said I can't get an answer, so she took my name and number and said she would get someone to call me. Three hours later, no-one has called, and I find a different phone number. I call it, and the person who answered (it may have been Ms Bastow) said she had not got the message, enquired what I needed and when I said it was for an affidavit and that someone had said that it could be done for me this afternoon (it takes 5 mins - witnessing a signature is all) she immediately refused citing that they 'were all too busy'. Not great customer service, and I won't be taking my divorce case there.........
