Staff are polite and professional. No issues, although sometimes the queue is quite long.
I used to use them, but the last time I posted something off the young girl with funny coloured hair short changed me. When I queried it she was very quick to make up the difference as if she does this on a regular basis, on my way out I heard her say "thank you" in a very sarcastic manner - cheeky cow - trying to rob me and then the sarcasm.
Queued for about 20 mins from about 5ish. Fair enough, it was busy. Could not reach the envelopes as blocked by about 10 massive mails sacks (I get again it was busy) , however they were very accessible to the counter staff. As I got to front and politely asked, got an eye roll and point as if to say go get one they are over there. When I explained that there were unfortunately many sacks blocking the path, got the response, oh well you'll have to wait til they are cleared and then rejoin the (massive) queue again (which was never gonna clear by closing time). Excellent.Wasn't sure whether to respond with an Olympic sized hurdle to the envelopes or just simply sigh in resignation.
Can't get through on phone. Spent 2 hours trying to find if theyre open good friday. No options on 0345 no could tell me. Only computers no people. Local no doesnt work.Just went in there at 5.25 on a Thursday and was told there is no service which can get my parcel delivered til Monday. " Because it's the weekend". Went out and googled Royal Mail parcel services to find out there are several next day delivery options. ??? I may have missed today's post, but to tell me if it goes tomorrow it can't get there on Saturday would seem to be an out and out lie, so that this very rude young woman didn't have to serve me because she couldn't be bothered.I've just discovered why the staff here haven't been sacked by now...the Post Office Complaints line charges 6.00 to call....
I dread it when I have to use this post office because Ive never had a good experience yet. The staff are not friendly, they are rude, look down at you, very abrupt and dont want to help. Often feel like youre a nuisance when you ask them questions. It would be great if they hired helpful friendly staff..
