Returned auto staff did not check auto with me and later charged for damage that was not present with my return. I took video of my returned auto that was used to protest charges.
Scammers trying to get money out of overseas visitors returning cars on a Sunday when no staff are present. Picked up a car from Eurocar in New Quay Airport which we had booked several months before . Had to wait 40 minutes for the car to be ready. Nice car and no problems with the car. Had to find the car ourselves in the car park and no instruction about how to operate the vehicle. Our problems started when we returned the car to Southhampton in West Quay Road on a Sunday when it was closed. We parked the car out front and placed the key in the envelope as instructed and posted it in the flap in the shop window. The car was undamaged and key returned so we set off to get on our cruise ship. We then received an email saying the car was damaged and we were to be charged 400 . When we asked for photos of the damage there was a response saying it was not damage to the car but in fact a missing key. We did incur a parking fine which we paid direct to the council. Next we get another email saying we owed 40 for administation fee for the fine.We had our credit card stolen on our trip so Europecar were unable to charge our account.We have had threats of solicitors getting involved and also a letter from a debt collector demanding the 400.This is a scam praying on visitors from overseas that return cars on a Sunday with no staff there. Never use this company go with Thrifty . If the security cameras were checked they could see we returned the key .

No line, no waiting to drop off car. They called a taxi for us to get to the port for our cruise. Small office, but efficient.
