Booking an appointment is difficult to say the leady unless yoh would like to wait to weeks. Or of course if you don't work and can sit on hold for half an hour for sane day nurse appointments!

Rude reception. Had been recommended not to go here but didn't listen. When my girlfriend went in she was left in tears from the reception talking very loudly and rudely about her problems, embarrassing her - which seemed very purposefully as the receptionist was looking smug.Avoid if you can.

Since grove road has become a partnership the service is frustrating, and ineffective.I have been unable to receive a timely appointment with my Dr, the prescription ordering is simple in theory but in practice a prescription which I ordered on line (as advised for speed) last week is still not available despite speaking to 2 receptionists, 1 assuring me it would be ready for pick up on Tuesday (unfortunately these were the wrong drugs! And not the ones I had ordered) and the other on Tuesday denying that the correct prescription had been even been given to the dr. She assured me she would do it and it would be ready to be picked up the next day as I had an operation on Friday. On Thursday this was still not done as apparently the Dr had refused saying the hospital were responsible? I had ordered the repleat prescription because the hospital had advised me to and to bring the medications in with me.I know have the added stress of worrying about the hospital cancelling the operation because I had not followed instructions and brought analgesia with me.Neither the Dr or the receptionist have contacted me about these delays, I have simply found out by the chemist relaying messages. Even the chemist has said this is not acceptable and the reply from the receptionist was that they have hundreds of patients. If I have any more problems they will have 1 less.

I had an appointment today with Dr Kumar for a steroid injection for tennis elbow. Was extremely anxious as I was told horror stories on how uncomfortable this would be. I was put at ease, explained what the process would involve, signed a consent form and I then had the injection. It was so much better than i had imagined it would be and so relieved that it went so well. Big thank you for a great service.

I have been a patient here since for years (my mother attended this surgery when she was pregnant with me) and all I have done is watch it decline.Since July 2017 I have been invited to attend my first Smear Test... since July 2017 to now (February 2018) I have been unable to book one. Keep on being told "no appointments available, please ring back" - no chance of being given a date that appointments will become available, and told they don't offer a call back service when appointments are available. All I can say is I hope that when I have my first Smear Test at my new surgery, everything is okay! You can never get an appointment for anything actually - "Is it an emergency?" Well, no. If it was, I would go to A&E. "Then you can't book an appointment today." Can I book one for tomorrow? "No... call back in the morning." Then I get asked the same question about it being an emergency... helpful...NOT.The doctors appear lacklustre, bored and uninterested when you attend the surgery - to be honest, I can't blame them. The reception staff are often very slow. I see them standing around talking to one another more than I see them helping patients.I could go on, but I feel I'm running out of space. This place is awful now. Shame.
