As hotels go this was ok. The hotel is a renovated grade 2 building which does mean that some doors don't fit as well as a modern building and some walls might bow. The staff were pleasant and the food was of a good standard. Overall not a bad hotel.
Super nice hotel. Great service. A great location if you are going on a cruise. 11 minutes walk to port. Great food as well. If by chance you get room 31 it is very noisy at night. Ear plugs is a must if you want to sleep.
Lovely old converted carriage house with many original features. Packed with history and in a great location for shops, restaurants and easy access to the cruise terminals. The rooms are very spacious and have all the conveniences needed for an interesting comfortable stay. Due to the nature of the building however there could be practical reasons why people with mobility issues might struggle as there are many little windy stairways and tight corridors. There are lovely annex rooms which might be more suitable and its worth enquiring if this is so.We have chosen this hotel several times and will be happy to do so again.
