Very good centrally located Travelodge. The superior rooms are definitely worth it for the pod coffee making machines and Kit Kats alone. The beds are comfortable, staff are friendly and the hotel is very handy for both central Southampton and the Isle of Wight and cruise ferry terminals.
Stayed for one night. The room was good and the cooked breakfast in the morning was excellent. However, the parking facilities undermeath the building are terrible. There are limited spaces and not a lot of room to maneuver when parking.
Lovely hotel! Perfect for the one night stay I needed. Bit extortionate as WiFi was 3 extra for every 24 hours, however it worked fine when used. Was able to check out at 8am as I had a early morning start.
As a hotel, it's very clean and modern. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The only issue I have is the available parking and cost. The car park is very small and they charge you to park there, with further availability elsewhere so you would have to walk back.I would recommended a hotel outside the city centre if you are driving.
The hotel is located in a great position to enjoy Southampton. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very welcoming, helpful. It was quite and we slept well. We will be back again soon.
